The scope of the Scheduling and Cell Logistics Supervisor will be to support the Cell Therapy team to schedule and deliver exceptional global customer service and logistics support for BMS’s Cell Therapy products. The Scheduling and Cell Logistics Supervisor is responsible for assisting the Managers in overseeing daily operations in the Scheduling and Cell Logistics department as well as perform all duties associated with scheduling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans of action for expected & unanticipated logistical issues during the transport of BMS products.

  • Resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.

  • Liaise/collaborate with apheresis operations, clinical operations, medical directors, commercial, quality, manufacturing and third-party logistics partners to resolve issues.

  • Coordinate work schedules for Scheduling staff at the direction of Manager.

  • Review and approve time sheets and time off requests by schedulers.

  • Supervises daily activity of the Scheduling staff to ensure all incoming calls/emails/cases are answered within the desired service level.

  • Assist with orientation and training of new personnel.

  • Author and implement procedures and work instructions related to departmental functions.

  • Input and maintain data related to patient schedules within the CTDO scheduling system.

  • Proactively monitor the cell therapy collection, delivery, transportation, and manufacturing activities for patient schedules as they move through the vein to vein process.

  • Represent patient scheduling on cross-functional project teams.

  • Support the CTDO E-Systems platform as well as contribute to the development.

  • Perform scheduling tasks as needed.

  • Comply with applicable SOP’s and FDA regulations to maintain data integrity.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of experience scheduling complicated multistep products or processes.

  • 1+ years of supervising/managing teams
