The Clinical Supervisor is accountable for providing clinical oversight throughout all of Swedish Pain Services in all aspects of the care delivery system and works organizationally to improve service. Evaluates nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency and quality of service. Ensures compliance with Swedish Health Services clinical protocols i.e procedural sedation, clinical competencies and licensure. Works collaboratively with staff, management and physician leaders to develop methods for improving and monitoring the quality of care overall. Address issues that may affect the desired patient outcomes and quality of care. Directs the nursing and medical assistant staff in the delivery of patient care, as needed, by interpreting and enforcing standards. Participates in staff development including development and maintenance of competencies, participation in the clinical orientation process and involvement in the educational processes. Maintains own licensure and credentials in order to assist clinical staff to provide patient care. Providence caregivers are not simply valued - they're invaluable. Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. 2 years recent experience in a related clinical area of nursing with demonstrated clinical knowledge and leadership qualities.
