Providence St. Joseph Health Supervisor Diagnostic Imaging in Seattle, Washington

Description Responsible for effective and efficient coordination and execution of daily imaging-related patient care activities at the Ambulatory Care campus. Accountable for the optimization of staff and pertinent supply chain resources. Functions as liaison with the radiologists, staff, emergency department, and leadership. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the processes and procedures relating to Medical Imaging services throughout the medical center. Assists in formulating strategies for monitoring and assuring quality and quality improvement. Assures the provision of exemplary customer service. Establishes a work environment conducive to high staff engagement, participation, and morale. Maintains an effective management relationship within the hospital and Providence Swedish Cancer Institute leadership structure and the Medical Imaging Management Team. Required Qualifications: Successful completion of an accredited medical imaging training program Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 2 years experience in a Medical Imaging specialty area Preferred Qualifications: 2 years Recent experience as a Lead Technologist or a related position 2 years experience with another imaging modality Prior supervisory experience Why Join Providence?
