Job Number: R0199262 Subcontracts Senior Manager Key Role: Serve as a Subcontracts Senior Manager within Booz Allen's Defense business, including business interests in Hawaii. Act as the Senior Lead of a high energy, dynamic subcontracts team, reporting to more senior leaders. Direct and coordinate the subcontract functions with a focus on subcontractor relationship management, terms and conditions, proposal support, project execution, and risk mitigation across a myriad of program types, including systems development, technical and professional services, and fixed price engagements. Provide expert advice and counsel to Account Executives and their program leadership on subcontract matters, including advising on subcontract types, regulatory and corporate policy compliance requirements, and risk management and mitigation. Interface directly with senior leadership and program managers to address any issues that may arise during capture, proposal development, subcontract negotiations, and execution. Develop and lead your team's operational performance with a focus on implementing a strategic vision, growing capabilities and offerings, implementing industry trends and best practices, and meeting business objectives and strategies withcurrentand emerging client requirements and external trends. Lead a team of 4-10 subcontract professionals. Basic Qualifications: 10+ years of experience with subcontract management, including overseeing large, complex proposals, negotiations, and administration for DoD contracts 8+ years of experience managing a diverse staff Experience with the negotiation of subcontracting documents, and the FAR and U.S. government procurement regulations Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive, business-oriented solutions to challenging problems Experience serving as a business advisor or key functional integrator, aligning people, processes, and systems to ensure quality support to programs Knowledge of FAR and agency supplements Ability to obtain a security clearance HS diploma or GED Additional Qualifications: Ability to support a quick-paced, high-volume, and diverse workload successfully Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills Possession of excellent customer relationship development and management skills with internal customers Bachelor's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
