Analysis, design, inspection of waterfront structures, asset management, and other maritime projects Structural analysis and design with timber, steel, concrete and composite materials Prestressed concrete analysis and design Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports as needed Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project Calculate construction quantity estimates Work closely with other architects, engineers, scientists, project managers, etc. on multi-discipline projects Office construction administration including review of shop drawings and technical submittals Perform construction site inspections and prepare inspection reports Other duties: Please note this job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil engineering with a Structural Emphasis Must be a rising Junior in your Bachelor's degree program A Master's degree student is preferred Working towards an EIT certification At least one previous related internship preferred but not required Ability to perform field investigations Any experience in finite element analysis, AutoCAD, or consulting a plus All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171 Moffatt & Nichol uses E-Verify and employment is contingent upon the legal ability to obtain employment in the U.S. and to present the required documentation at hire Base salary range: $25.00 to $34.00 per hour based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting required qualification in job description.
