Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated and collaborative Strategy Program Manager to join our dynamic Market Intelligence team (MI). The MI team focuses on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data to produce actionable insights to inform business decisions and drive growth. The focal point of this role is storytelling, if you enjoy learning and communicating about new technologies, and are familiar with working across a broad set of media, particularly business and tech, to tell proactive stories, this could be the right role for you. We are looking for someone who is self-driven, comfortable working in an ever-changing landscape, and can manage multiple projects and stakeholders at a time.

Key job responsibilities

Job responsibilities:

  • Effectively develop and cultivate multi-channel communication strategy.

  • Own the creation and delivery of compelling, internal executive-level materials (e.g., newsletters, briefs, field alerts) to share knowledge, wins, insights and create a brand for the MI team.

  • Earn trust, exercise high judgment, effectively communicate with a wide range of internal stakeholders.

  • Collaborate effectively with senior executives, their leadership teams, marketing, sales and technical teams, to translate complex technical concepts into compelling stories that are brought to life through visuals, demos, and executive scripts.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

- - 5+ years Communications, Marketing Operations, Field Operations, Program Management, Project Management, or related experience.

- - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

- - Experience using data and metrics to create various communication materials, including presentations, newsletters, executive briefings and field messaging.

- - Ability to manage complex projects in a fast-changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field.

  • A keen interest and curiosity about tech trends, especially AI.

  • A growth mindset and the desire to experiment with new and emerging forms of storytelling to reach a broad set of audiences.

  • A talent for collaborating effectively and diplomatically with several stakeholders across research, engineering, communications and marketing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
