Position Overview We are seeking an entrepreneurial Staff Software Product Manager to support Adaptive’s growing mission. You will help develop and scale our software platform that manages our product diagnostics life cycle from order to results. You are a creative problem solver who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will be responsible for creating the product strategy and vision for product and you will own product features roadmaps. Utilizing your experience in creating elegant user experiences and robust backend systems, you will guide us forward in designing and building consumer test ordering via T-Detect.com as well as the next-gen of our underlying software platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders from life sciences, software engineering, design, operations, and executive teams to define and implement new product features to grow business opportunities. You will translate business and customer needs into potential software solutions and then lead iterative software development cycles using metrics to know when you’ve solved the underlying customer problems. Operating as the Product Owner of your scrum team, your key responsibilities include partnering with business to create a roadmap for addressing their key business priorities, maintaining a rich backlog for your scrum team to execute, rallying the team around a common product vision, measuring the impact of your changes, and managing up and out to ensure the broader organization stays aware of what your team has done and what exciting enhancements are coming. Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions *Define software product strategy for specific line of business with attention to details *Collaborate with business & functional leaders to define product roadmap that is aligned with short term & long-term business goals *Work directly with domain experts in life sciences, immunology, and clinical biology to translate product & business requirements into product roadmap *Manage the product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical execution *Work with software engineering leaders & scrum teams on day-to-day basis to deliver product features based on established roadmap *Establish goals & review metrics to identify opportunities & evaluate success Position Requirements (Education, Experience, Other) Required *Bachelor’s Degree + 12 years of related experience or Masters + 10 years of related experience; preferably in Software Product Management *Excellent track record of all end-to-end product management aspects from vision to release & management *Experience creating elegant customer experiences from scratch and improving upon existing ones *Demonstrable experience with feature tradeoffs, prioritization & adoption metrics *Experience building product roadmap per business goals by collaborating with business & functional leaders *Prior experience working with engineering teams to deliver product features per product roadmap *Experience working in agile product development *Excellent oral & written communication skills with ability to in
