Staff Software Engineer positions available at WarnerMedia Services, LLC in Seattle, WA. Build and manage services that scale to support millions of customers, across a wide range of devices and surfaces. Orchestrate messages across multiple notification platforms and messaging providers, as well as support the multiple products and brands available. Partner with the data and experimentation platform teams, to ensure the ability to send messages to custom segments and test different experiences among multiple groups, to see which works the best. Design and architect a message orchestration platform that allows product and marketing teams to reach customers across a wide range of surfaces (email, mobile devices, connected TVs, etc.). Have a deep understanding of software data structures and algorithms. Ideate and innovate on complex software solutions. Serve as a team resource, growing other engineers and defining team software standards and engineering best practices. Design and deliver complex architectures and distributed systems, including working through other engineers to help deliver the end solution. Describe highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a way they can understand. May work remotely within a commutable distance of reporting office in Seattle, Washington. Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and at least 7 years of experience in the job offered or at least 7 years of experience in software engineering. Stated experience must include at least 7 years of experience in the following: professional development experience using languages such as Java, C, C++, C#, Javascript, Typescript, or Golang; delivering and operating reliable low-latency, services operating in a 24x7 environment; and Cloud Computing platforms (AWS, Google app engine, Azure, Kubernetes).
We are offering a salary range of $197,000 per year to $296,000 per year, depending upon qualifications.
