The Senior Territory Manager Surgical will be responsible for the oversight and clinical support of the Surgical portfolio in a designated region. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this job will involve spending time in the hospital OR, surgery centers, physician offices, and operating rooms. This position may also guide and advise Associate Territory Managers and could transition to a higher level individual contributor role within the designated region. - Achieve assigned quota on a monthly and quarterly basis at 100% or higher.
- Maintains working knowledge of all Ultrasonic products
- Prospects and lands new account opportunities.
- Cross sells and upsells to expand account business and supports the capital sale
- Launches new technologies in assigned territory
- Drive regional sales in existing accounts and penetrate targeted accounts.
- Help coordinate and conduct in-services for Surgeons, O.R. staff and Sterile Processing prior to evaluations.
- Provide onsite clinical support to accounts during the evaluation process.
- Assist with labs, trade shows, training, and convention activities.
- Successful completion of all required product and sales related training curriculum
- Complete special projects assigned by upper management.
- Works with Regional leaders to train and give feedback to ATM's in region
What you'll bring to the table
- BA/BS degree is required;
- A minimum of 4 years surgical sales experience.
- (For internal applicants' minimum requirements are: 1. One (1) year experience as a Territory Manager prior, 2. consistently meets/exceeds performance requirements during that period, and 3. significant, identifiable achievement in three (3) or more of the nine core sales competencies: account planning, adaptability, advancing sales discourse, building influence/partnerships, portfolio management, targeting sales opportunities, technical KSAs, valuing differences, and culture principles.)
- Demonstrated ability in project management and sales optimization, business acumen.
- A successful track record of nursing, surgical tech, paramedic background, or B2B sales
- Experience working in an OR surgical setting
- A valid driver's license in one of the 50 United States is required
- Exceptional customer service skills and proven track record in achieving sales quota
- Computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel
- Highly detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy
- Maintains an attitude of responsibility, ownership, and accountability
- Strong sense of decision making, sound judgement and critical thinking
- Motivated and able to work independently within a fast paced, team environment
