Amazon Sr. Technical Program Manager, AWS Global Sales - Atlas in Seattle, Washington

AWS Global Sales (AGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers. The AGS team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AGS-Atlas team is focused on building a centralized and authoritative system of reference for some of the core data domains, that power the activities of our world-class selling and field teams.

Looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to own and deliver large technical initiatives while focusing on enabling the Global Startup Operations team, while working in close collaboration with the engineering, science, and product teams. In this role you will function as the primary liaison with our Global Startup Operations team, and will help build a Startup focused roadmap within Atlas. You will own building out the business use cases, data assessment, prioritization, contractual processes, and overall vendor management.

As a Sr. TPM, you will be expected to make tradeoffs, manage risks and constraints, and use high judgement to prioritize initiatives and tasks.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and product stakeholders across multiple business and technical teams to deliver product goals and milestones

  • Be an impassioned voice for our customers - AWS's world-class selling and field teams - and ensure we are providing customer-obsessed experiences for them when they interact with our product

  • Work with the product management, science and engineering teams to identify technical requirements, limitations, and bottlenecks

  • Own status update mechanisms like weekly business and metrics reviews

  • Own data sourcing, vendor management, and data hygiene programs for Startup focused data

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

  • 5+ years of analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentations experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

  • 3+ years of working with Startup data, like Crunchbase and CBInsights

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
