AmazonUI’s mission is to increase the quality (aesthetics and ease-of-use) of Amazon’s shopping experiences by enabling experience owners to create and maintain cohesive, and accessible customer experiences (CX) at low cost. ProductUI (PUI) team is part of AmazonUI team and is responsible for rendering best-in-class, legally compliant product faceouts. We power experiences like Search, Personalization, GiftFinder, Customer WishLists across all platforms. As the Sr TPM, you will collaborate on and execute programs that replace the legacy and diverse rendering stacks with a truly one size fits all stack that scale across the entirety of our Worldwide Stores businesses and support thousands of builders worldwide. In your role you will own management of the lifecycle of cross-functional programs, as well as the development of mechanisms and tooling that simplify the way teams build and test experiences that exceed expectations and delight our customers. You will be responsible for driving strategic decisions, define the milestones, and conducting internal as well as external risk assessments across our partner organizations. You will have the opportunity to solve hard computer science problems and help the business every day.

Key job responsibilities
Drive large scale projects spanning teams across Amazon from inception to conclusion, formulate the product vision, define user stories, research appropriate technical solutions.
Clearly communicate vision, plans and project status to Amazon executives and key technical and business stakeholders.
Work closely with the software development team on delivering high-quality solutions, and provide guidance regarding architecture, design, and priorities.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs balancing the business needs versus constraints.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
