We are seeking a highly motivated, critical, and creative Sr. Technical Product Manager to join the CareDx R&D group. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing, dynamic, and collaborative R&D team innovating cutting-edge technology. The primary function of this position will be to drive development of innovative non-invasive diagnostic solutions for transplant recipients. The ideal candidate will be able to lead assay development and validation projects; interface with cross functional teams including bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, clinical and lab operations; and play a key role in designing, developing, and commercializing cutting-edge products for transplant patients. Responsibilities: Product Design and Development: Lead the design and development of healthcare solutions, focusing on the technical aspects of product development. Product Requirements & Specifications: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user needs and business requirements into product requirements and specifications. Define clear product specifications and oversee development efforts to ensure that product requirements and specifications are met. Technical Guidance & Oversight: Provide expert design and product development guidance and mentorship to cross-functional teams, including assay development, data science, software, and operations. Oversee the technical aspects of product design and development, including system verification and validation activities, and technical risk assessment. Team Communication: Interface with staff in core teams and multiple departments including bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, clinical and lab operations. Enable efficient decision making by simplifying complex design and development issues, presenting possible solutions, and solicitating cross-functional feedback. Documentation & Project Management Support: Author design control and technical documentation. Build development plans and work with project management and technical teams to ensure timely execution. Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Advanced degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or a related discipline with 10 years of experience and at least 5 years of industry experience Experience with product development processes and applicable regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO) Strong technical knowledge and skills in areas such as assay development and data analysis Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good organizational skills, and detail oriented Additional Details: Every individual at CareDx has a direct impact on our collective mission to improve the lives of organ transplant patients worldwide.
