You will be part of an infrastructure team that designs, implements, and manages corporate IT infrastructure services. Our services include systems, network, cloud engineering and service management.You will work closely with our Principal Systems Engineer, network engineer, and other engineers to manage our IT infrastructure. Your primary focus will be design, configure, and manage various tools to modernize and enhance our ability to proactively manage infrastructure, in addition to common systems engineering activities. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow in other areas such as network and cloud technologies.What You'll Do:* Design, implement, configure, and manage Solarwinds to monitor, manage and alert on various applications and systems.* Configure and manage various infrastructure tools, such as password management, log management, cloud service expense management and access management.* Define and implement best practices on systems, network, cloud services and infrastructure monitoring and management.* Collect, aggregate, and visualize Infrastructure service metrics to report on health, usage, outages, and issues to provide actionable insights* Document decisions, design, and implementation for all infrastructure tools* Engage in common systems engineering and operations projects and tasks* Fulfill service requests for systems services following defined service delivery methodology and standards* Investigate, trouble shoot and resolve systems health and performance issues* Perform regular systems operational responsibilities including but not limited to systems patching, inventory and security audit and reporting,* Participate in on-call support rotation, respond and coordinate support activities in a timely manner* Build and maintain successful relationships with other IT teams and business partners* Work with business units to evaluate business and technical requirements and develop strategic solutionsWhat we'd like from you:* 5+ years of systems engineering experience and relevant infrastructure management automation development* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields* Experience in scripting for systems engineering and management using Python, PowerShell, BASH, etc.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent written andTo view the full job description,
