Additional Compensation Details: $97,000.00 - $136,000.00 annually Dependent on Experience and Location of Role Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Job Description The Role: Sr. Systems Administrator Overview: As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's technology infrastructure. This role requires an experienced technical professional with a deep understanding of systems administration, network architecture, and security protocols. You will lead a team of administrators and collaborate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the organization's technology systems. Responsibilities: Design and implement upgrades, new systems, and software applications to meet changing business needs. Manage the organization's network, servers, operating systems, and applications, ensuring all systems are up-to-date and secure. Monitor system performance, identify and debug issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support to end-users to resolve hardware and software issues. Develop and implement backup and recovery procedures to protect critical information. Create and maintain documentation on IT systems and procedures. Handle system security, access, and authorization to protect the organization's data. Train and mentor junior IT staff members. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices. Additional Tasks/Duties as they are assigned. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years' experience working with IT systems, with at least 3 years in a senior-level position. Expert knowledge of various operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and UNIX Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Entra Expert knowledge of server hardware and architecture Expert knowledge of backup and recovery systems Expert knowledge of O365SharePointCloud Based E-mail Systems Strong understanding of Vendor Management Strong understanding of Cluster Technologies, along with Network Based Storage Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies with an emphasis on MS Azure Strong understanding of MS Intune Familiarity with virtualization technologies MS Hyper-V Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VPN Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Advanced technical certifications in specialized areas like cloud computing or networking.
