The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. As a Senior Solutions Architect for the Cloud Operations for services including 1/ Amazon Monitoring and Observability: Amazon CloudWatch, Application Performance Monitoring(APM), AWS X-Ray, Amazon Managed Service for Prometheus (AMP) and Amazon Managed Grafana, 2/ AWS CloudTrail, AWS Systems Manager and AWS Resource Management Services and 3/ Cloud Governance including Accounts, Audit Manager, AWS Config, Control Tower and Service Catalog. You will engage with customers to accelerate their adoption of AWS, and analyzing the technical aspects of building and migrating to AWS. You will also play a key role in working with the AWS Service Teams to help them build the best cloud services on Earth. You will create content and speak publicly about the amazing things that our customers are doing on AWS. Additionally, you will engage with other Solutions Architects and the wider field of technology experts to bring your experience and expertise so they can better support our customers.

Your broad responsibilities will include:

• Design and implement strategic migration plans for Microsoft workloads to AWS, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects, as well as defining implementation architectures.

• Provide thought leadership in the adoption of .NET applications in the cloud, offering guidance on best practices, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop integrated solutions that leverage AWS services to meet the unique needs of the Enterprise and Digital Native Business US customers.

• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions and workshops to educate clients and internal teams on Microsoft migrations and cloud optimization strategies.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and Microsoft ecosystems to inform strategic decisions and innovation efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
