As part of a small passionate and accomplished team, you will lead the Software Configuration Management activities for the Lunar Transportation business unit. We are seeking a Senior Software Configuration Management Analyst who is an experienced individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytics skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be primarily responsible for the team that implements and executes the end-to-end software configuration management for the Blue Moon vehicles. You will ensure the implementation is consistent with company and business unit policies. In this hands-on position, you will work to increase the speed and efficiency of the program by supporting the timely delivery, quality, and traceability of data to support program activities and business systems. Responsibilities: Spearhead software configuration management process and procedure development, working collaboratively with our other business units Integrate software DevOps technologies and strategies into configuration management processes Mentor team members and provide expertise for Software Configuration Management to our vehicles on Lunar Transportation Lead software configuration activities, including baseline software definition, build management, data retention and storage, part numbering, configuration status accounting, change control, etc. Contribute to and review DO-178 documentation, including development and implementation of the Software Configuration Management Plan (SCMP), Software Configuration Index (SCI), Software Lifecycle Configuration Index (SECI) and Tool Accomplishment Summary (TAS) Support Software Quality Assurance (SQA) and Safety and Mission Assurance (S&MA) audits and activities Continuously evaluate processes, tools, and techniques for improvement opportunities Participate in Change Control Boards, as required Develop and report on TPMs to help plan, supervise progress and adjust scope to meet goals in agile operating rhythm Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in relevant discipline and 10+ years of Software Configuration Management experience Experience with Git or open-source software configuration management tools Experience defining software part numbering schemas, including relevant configuration data files (Parameter Data Item Files) Detail-oriented and structured in approach to technical problem solving Experience developing, maturing, and implementing processes Working knowledge of configuration management principles and practices Familiar with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum . Desired: Background in developing and releasing software under DO-178 guidelines Experience in aerospace or automotive industries Experience with Jira or other workflow management tools\
