Job summaryAmazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for experienced Senior Sales Specialists as we help our customers move communication workloads to AWS when they use our programable communications components to quickly add audio, video, messaging, and calling API capabilities to applications and business processes. Developers and enterprsie IT teams benefit from the Amazon Chime SDK because they eliminate the cost, complexity, and friction of creating and maintaining their own real-time communication services while also natively access AWS AI/ML services. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cloud services, has a strong industry background in programable calling APIs, VoIP, Video/IP, SIP, WebRTC, and video enabled applications, and has a blend of business, technical, project management, and sales skills necessary to help customers and prospects move communication workloads to AWS.Your responsibilities will include building and managing a sales pipeline focused on driving adoption, revenue, and market penetration. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record and background that enables them to lead a sales effort that will include teaming with AWS Senior Enterprise Sales Representatives, Solutions Architects, and Partners. Plus, the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus within the largest AWS accounts.The ideal candidate will have both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive a customer engagement at the Executive (VP/CXO) level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The candidate should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a plan and consistently deliver on quarterly business objectives and adoption/revenue targets. Teamwork, Account strategies, cross selling/expanding, solution selling, negotiation, project management, objection handling, and closing are some of the critical skills required for success.Roles & Responsibilities:* Create a strong partnership with Enterprise/General sales, supporting them with service and industry/domain expertise to effectively sell* Develop and execute against a sales plan* Maintain a sales pipeline* Work with Partners, ISVs, and OEM's to extend reach & drive adoption of AWS solutions* Manage contract negotiations along with the core sales organization* Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts* Ensure customer satisfaction* 7+ years of technology related sales experience* BA/BS degree required* Direct field experience working with enterprise customers* 7-10+ years of experience in enterprise and/or b2b software industry preferably cloud, hosted, and managed communications services* 7+ years of experience with business collaboration tools, UC, Video, telephony, and SDK/APIs* Experience selling to Fortune 1000 and/or Global 2000 organizations* Experience with new businesses - in both startup and established technology company environments* Experience with cloud computing and or related fields (IT, software, SaaS)* Strong verbal and written communications skills.* Sales specialist/overlay experience* Proven track record of success driving adoption of disruptive technologies within enterprise accounts.* Excellent negotiation skills, and business and financial acumen* Strong analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to turn detailed data analysis into useful strategic insight in order to drive customer adoption* Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must* Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations, including or across organizations inside of prospects* Project management skills are needed to ensure that parallel work occurs to drive AWS and the customer through POCs and into adoption with fully ramped usage.This position can be re
