Sr. Researchers (Health) for American Institutes for Research to work at our Seattle, WA loc. and may work remotely. Lead collaborative research projects + tasks, incl proposal efforts + ID new business opp. Oversee client satisfaction, senior employees, + design of focus groups/workshops. Review/analyze/synthesize information + ensure sound practices + techniques for projects, incl appropriate techniques to collect, analyze, + report quantitative/qualitative data. Budget management, project deliverables, + client relations. Dev conceptual framework to guide projects. Collaborate w/ quantitative/qualitative researchers to design + dev questionnaires, instruments, + databases. Contrib ideas, strategic planning, + info for project papers. Publish papers, progress + technical reports, + present at seminars. Mentor researchers + provide feedback. May undergo background checks. Wage range: \$124,000 to \$165,000 annually. Must have Ph.D. in Econ, Public Health/Policy, Psychology, or rel social science field and 3 yrs related social science research or public health research exp. Also requires skills (3 yrs' exp) in: applying statistical methods to social science research or public health research; communicating research to technical and non-technical audiences; collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data; and producing summaries and briefings of research. Alternatively, must have Masters in Econ, Public Health/Policy, Psychology, or rel social science field and 5 yrs related social science research or public health research exp. Also requires skills (5 yrs' exp) in: applying statistical methods to social science research or public health research; communicating research to technical and non-technical audiences; collecting, analyzing, and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data; and producing summaries and briefings of research.
