The Selling Partner Communities organization builds lasting connections with, and helps drive the success of our Selling Partners. Within this organization, the Community Advising and Management team plays a crucial role in fostering an active and helpful community for information exchange among Selling Partners, providing an effective channel for multi-directional engagement with Amazon, and understanding Selling Partners' perceptions to improve their experience selling on Amazon.

Mission: CAM team's mission is to create and maintain an engaging, and supportive online community for all Selling Partners, regardless of their size, tenure, or location. Our role is to facilitate meaningful interactions between Selling Partners and with Amazon, identify opportunities to enhance the seller experience, and drive satisfaction through community-driven insights and support.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager to join our Community Advising and Management (CAM) team within Selling Partner Services (SPS). This role will be instrumental in driving the strategy and execution of our Selling Partner Communities, with a primary focus on our internal social media tool, Forums. The ideal candidate will work closely with product and tech teams to enhance and optimize the community experience for our selling partners, fostering engagement and collaboration between sellers and Amazon.

Key job responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Selling Partner Communities, aligning with overall SPS goals and objectives.

  2. Collaborate with product and tech teams to identify, prioritize, and implement new features and improvements for the Forums platform.

  3. Analyze community engagement metrics and user feedback to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement.

  4. Manage cross-functional projects related to community development, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

  5. Develop and implement community guidelines, best practices, and moderation strategies to maintain a positive and productive environment.

  6. Work closely with content and engagement teams to create and curate valuable resources and discussions for selling partners.

  7. Coordinate with other SPS teams to ensure seamless integration of community initiatives with broader selling partner support strategies.

  8. Identify and cultivate relationships with key community members and influencers to drive engagement and foster a sense of community.

  9. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor community strategies to ensure our offerings remain innovative and competitive.

  10. Prepare and present regular reports on community performance, growth, and impact to senior leadership.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
