Description

Amazon is seeking a motivated individual with strong analytical skills and program management experience in Operations to join Healthcare Security Operations, Global Security Operations. The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong attention to detail and has the ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. The drive and capability to shape business and program strategy is necessary to be successful in this role.

The Sr. PM Health, supports various teams in health operations leveraging data and customer feedback to influence the direction of security and asset protection programs. The ideal candidate for this role explores big ideas that have a large impact across multiple teams and organizations with a focus on continuous improvement. This role translates broad business problems into specific projects, conducting a thorough analysis, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and communicating results effectively at the operational and senior leadership level.

Key job responsibilities

• Stays informed of local, state, and federal laws related to pharmacy practices, including changes or developments and their impact on business operations

• Partners with stakeholders to align policies and initiatives with requirements and demands of accrediting/licensing bodies

• Drives implementation of physical security to maintain control of PHI/PII in adherence with applicable state and federal laws

• Partners with stakeholders to review security processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency and embrace continuous quality improvement

• Serves as subject matter expert for pharmacy security, keeping stakeholders abreast of key issues and the team’s performance

• Effectively partners with internal customers in evaluating current and future security services, processes and initiatives

• Delivers complex medium to large scale projects from initiation through delivery

• Supports critical relationships and negotiations of agreements with customers, suppliers or other external partners

• Collaborates with counterparts in other functional areas across the enterprise as well as various partner teams

• Develops program vision, and gain buy-in for that vision with customers and stakeholders.

• Emphasizes and analyze the use of data and customer feedback to optimize program effectiveness

• Operates with significant autonomy and discretion

About the team

Healthcare Security Operations (HCSO), Global Security Operations (GSO) protects healthcare customers and secures the business through the application of safeguards, security risk & vulnerability identification, mitigation, response, investigations, and compliance support. HCSO takes a risk-based approach, partnering with operations and cross-functional teams to enable a safe, secure, and resilient end-to-end operation that protects the business and builds customer trust.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
