Are you passionate about product development and being a part of a fast growing business?Are you interested in shaping the future product roadmap for Amazon's Private Brands business?Does global process development interest you?This Senior Program manager role within Hardlines Private Brands will contribute to process improvement initiatives in all aspects of our product development process. The position will be accountable for managing the ongoing roadmap planning process, and providing leadership to optimize product development reliability and productivity. The role will entail a wide range of responsibilities and will have the opportunity to contribute to HPB's global expansion and long term portfolio planning.We are looking for a leader that thrives working with a cross functional team, and enjoys the challenge of leading complex, strategic planning activities. To be successful in this role, you will need to be an effective influencer, possess strong facilitation skills, and have experience balancing inputs and priorities from multiple executive stakeholders. This position offers a great opportunity to build processes and relationships within HPB's global team, and influence the long term product development strategy.Key Responsibilities include;* Process development: improving HPB's productivity with more effective planning tools* Roadmap ownership: leading the ongoing product development roadmap planning process* Creating/leading HPB's project intake process, building ROI tools* Continuous improvement: leading initiatives to enable HPB to scale more productively* Thinking Globally: integrating regional processes into an overall HPB global roadmap* Developing plans to improve product launch reliability and future revenue optimizationBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree* 3+ years of professional experience related to new product launch and development* 3+ years experience as a process change leader* Outstanding financial acumen* Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously* Prior project experience with strategic roadmap planning (planning exercises involving longer term ROI/financial planning)* Outstanding writing skills (for executive audience)Amazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer .and.ndash; Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
