Amazon Global Specialty Fulfillment (GSF) provides fulfillment and delivery operation support to Prime Now, Pantry, Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods, Treasure Truck, and Amazon Restaurants. We're seeking a Product Manager to be a part of Fresh, Prime Now, and Treasure Truck Supply Chain team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in groundbreaking initiatives using advanced technology to solve difficult and interesting problems.Amazon obsesses over customers by offering a white glove service where we deliver TVs and other large items like furniture to customers' homes. Not only do we deliver large parcels, we unpack, assemble, install and sometimes even do tests, hauling away old items as needed.We are looking for motivated Sr. Product Manager- Tech to drive Technical projects for developing some of the game changing Products with Global customer impact. Then this is the team and role for you!As a Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for:* Define Why, when and what of the product working backward from Customer and cross functional teams.* Work with Operations and Program teams globally to develop product/tech vision, requirements and a roadmap for implementation.* Define the strategic vision for major features or a product, establishing a roadmap, business prioritization and successfully driving engineering teams to deliver on that vision.* Make crisp decisions about what projects move forward and in what priority order. You will manage all stages of the lifecycle (from concept to delivery).* Understand operational and technical requirements/challenges and make educated trade-offs* Communicate with senior management on status, leveraging writing skills, strong technical competency is essential, risks and product strategy.* Manage and influence technical projects in waterfall and Agile (Scrum) environment.* Leverage analytical abilities across business and technology.* Deliver broadly adopted technology products/services in a very high growth environment where priorities shift quickly.* Define product charter and features, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, Product testing, coordinating large cross functional projects and schedules, and delivering complex projects with accurate results at high scale.Basic Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering and/or 2 years of Amazon experience* 6+ years of prior experience in Product management in a software development environment* Prior experience in a service-oriented architecture, product development), building processes, project management and release models* Prior experience managing multiple projects - work prioritization, planning and execution* Prior experience of analytical tools (SQL, R, Shiny, Tableau etc.)* Prior experience writing narratives, press release, PRFAQ, Product requirement and other strategic documentsAmazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer .and.ndash; Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age
