Amazon's Consumer Payments organization builds the foundational systems and products that allow Amazon to accept payments for all the goods, content and services that Amazon offers around the world. We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead our recommendations experience and automated marketing channels roadmap. If building tailored recommendations experiences and marketing technologies for a global customer base sounds appealing, then this is the role for you.This Product Manager role in Amazon's Consumer Payments org is a Seattle-based, individual contributor role with global scope. You will identify new customer use cases, work with UX to create compelling CX, and collaborate with the owners of Amazon's core shopping experiences. You will work directly with a dedicated team of web developers, software engineers, data engineers, and machine learning scientists to develop and execute your roadmap.The ideal candidate:* Works backwards to optimize the customer experience. Insists on high standards for the user experience.* Identifies clear business requirements and dependencies, prioritizes projects and manages timelines effectively.* Quantifies opportunities, defines incrementality and seeks the highest ROI investments.* Earns trust with their team, leadership and colleagues across Amazon.* Demonstrates bias for action and drives initiatives on their own and through others outside their department.* Is a skilled communicator in writing documents and in conversation.* Has a keen understanding of the dynamics of business negotiations and decision making.* Finds solutions to unblock projects and drive improvements for Amazon's customers.* Is energized by solving problems for Amazon customers and the internal users of our system* Bachelor's degree in business, economics, liberal arts, computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, accounting.* 5+ years of relevant employment experience, including bringing product features to market.* 3+ years of e-commerce, online marketing, or product management experience.* Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people and teams at every level in the organization.* Strong verbal/written communication skills to work effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
