Description

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager (PM) to join the Sales Strategy & Operations team.

Senior Program Managers serve in a pivotal role, leading strategic initiatives, partner engagements and driving new project developments to aid business growth.

Successful candidates must work well in a fast-paced and often ambiguous arena, and will be rewarded by working alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues in an environment that feels much more “startup” than “big company”.

Key job responsibilities

  • Ideate solutions to solve key customer problems by developing innovative solutions and test through "proof of concept" approaches

  • Develop full scale solutions for solutions that prove successful well in the testing phase

  • Establish strong partner relationships with internal business stakeholders, building a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities.

  • Develop growth strategies to deliver against ambitious objectives for the category

  • Build collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders and drive the right business inputs while delivering above par seller experience

  • Drive automation and feature development for the program working closely with tech/product teams

  • Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive cost savings and long-term sustainable growth

  • Prepare and hold business reviews with stakeholders to review seller performance, future opportunities, and/or challenges.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
