At Volt, our greatest strength is our people Volt is immediately hiring a Sr. Ops Support Specialist in Georgetown (South Seattle), WA Job Summary: Under limited supervision, the Operations Administrative Support role performs various administrative functions to support the Operations Department. This includes scheduling, maintenance, audits, and other duties essential to the operations of our company. As a Sr. Ops Support Specialist, you will: * Handle site lead responsibilities under the direction of the Operations Manager by planning and ensuring the flow of material entering and leaving the transfer station. * Determine and coordinate scheduling for third-party vendors to transport material from the facility. * Perform facility inspections and coordinate any site maintenance needs. Ensure equipment is properly maintained. * Manage site inventory by performing monthly audits of parts, supplies, and fuel, and make purchases as needed. * Manage and facilitate the transfer of equipment to other divisions by working with the corporate fleet department. * Complete environmental regulatory paperwork, perform daily, weekly, and monthly environmental and facility safety inspections, and handle storm water sampling and monitoring duties. * Act as the initial point of contact with city and county inspectors for operational and regulatory compliance and manage all site recordkeeping of compliance documents. * Plan, determine, and distribute workload daily. Ensure material moves through the site efficiently. Direct cart cleaning, repair, and preparation, and assign other yard duties as needed. Follow up to ensure task completion. * Ensure the safe use of equipment and notify the appropriate manager or supervisor of any unsafe or hazardous working conditions. * Perform dispatch office duties at a collections company, including communicating customer service tickets to drivers, checking in drivers, and performing data entry. This is a Full-Time opportunity. Schedule: Monday to Friday (Flexibility in start time 7-9AM) 40 hrs./week The ideal candidate will have: * Strong organizational and multitasking skills. * Ability to work independently and under limited supervision. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Experience with inventory management and facility maintenance is a plus. * Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance is preferred.
