We are seeking a smart, innovative and technically apt Sr Marketing Operations (Ops) Manager. You will be part of the MarTech & Operations (MTO) Team, offering a unique opportunity to shape the overall marketing tech stack ranging from email to onsite, offsite, and analytics for a rapidly growing organization. You will succeed in this role if you are an organized self-starter who can learn new technologies quickly and excel in a fast-paced environment. In this position, you will be a key contributor, working on the selection and integration of MarTech solutions across existing platforms.

In this role, you will be supporting global acquisition, enterprise, and engagement focused marketing team. You should be highly analytical, resourceful, customer focused, team oriented, and have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep. A proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment is strongly preferred.

Key job responsibilities

  • Work at both the strategic and tactical level to champion bold, innovative automation

  • Envision new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences

  • Drive efforts to integrate 3rd party and internal tools with our central marketing automation platform from evaluation to implementation

  • Gather detailed business requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (marketing, tech teams, etc.)

  • Develop and execute on new ideas (project plans, collaborations with internal and external teams)

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, marketing stakeholders and international counterparts (e.g. Sales Ops, Salesforce Egineering) to deliver global solutions

  • Leverage automation to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at rapid pace

  • Manage multiple projects gracefully and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

A day in the life

• Directly interface with business customers, gathering requirements and delivering complete marketing automation solutions.

• Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of data to help automate and optimize solutions to key business problems.

• Drive roadmap and sprint planning cycles, participate and support business reviews, annual planning and goal setting exercises.

• Work closely with software engineering, data engineering teams and operations to build scalable data infrastructure solutions.

• Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses and automations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6+ years of experience with central sales tools (Salesforce) and marketing automation systems (e.g., Pardot, Marketo, Eloqua)

  • Experience with large scale CRM and marketing automation platforms implementations

  • Experience collaborating on and leading large scale projects with multiple stakeholders

  • Experience with API integrations

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Large scale project delivery for MarTech (e.g., integrating new 3rd party tools, migrating marketing automation platform, etc.)

  • Pardot and/or Marketo certified

  • Salesforce Admin certified

  • Demonstrated experience owning and running the governance of a large scale automation platform

  • Ad tech experience (e.g., Adobe, Marin)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
