AWS Applications and Higher Level Abstractions (Apps) provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Applications group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.

Amazon is looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to join an exciting, mission-driven team to promote the expansion of Amazon One. As part of this team, you will be able to build and launch marketing programs from the ground up, working in an agile startup atmosphere to define the marketing strategy across channels, place and evaluate various marketing tactics, and evaluate and report on their effectiveness.

About You:

You’re an experienced integrated marketer familiar with B2B, B2B2C, and B2C marketing campaigns, including digital marketing campaigns. You can work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Business Intelligence, Sales, Finance, Legal, etc. to develop strategies to improve consumer awareness and adoption of new technologies. You are comfortable both developing the strategy and working hands on to create and launch campaigns internally and with partners, develop sales materials and thought leadership in the space, as well as evaluate the results to adapt our strategies and meet our goals.

The ideal candidate makes proactive strategic recommendations based on data and customer trends and isn’t afraid to test new ideas. They are innovative, collaborative, and approach campaign management holistically understanding the benefits and limitations of each channel and opportunity.

About the Role:

This Sr. Marketing Manager for Amazon One will provide direction for marketing efforts across channels to support adoption. The Sr. Marketing Manager will need to think and act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the execution, and analysis of business impact. They will need be comfortable in a fast-paced environment and have proven experience planning and executing cross functional marketing programs across multiple teams.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and drive the growth strategy and campaign approach by product, using target customer data and business analytics to create actionable strategies; determine the optimal mix of channels, levers, and approaches to achieve our business KPIs

• Manage and own the execution of B2B & B2B2C channels to engage consumers to adoption our solutions, including program design and development, conducting in-depth analysis of results, and driving ongoing optimization.

• Support the creation and promotion of content that addresses the needs of our customers, enhances their experience, and generates growth for our brand

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Experience prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with A/B Testing or Multi-Variate Testing or both

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
