Job Information

Amazon Sr. Manager, Software Development, Customer Trust in Seattle, Washington

Description

Are you passionate about creating both the best buying and selling experience on the internet? Would you enjoy shipping solutions in your first few weeks that make shopping on Amazon safer? As a Sr. Software Development Manager in the World Wide Customer Trust team, you will actively work on the products that accomplish this for Buyers and Sellers on Amazon.com worldwide every day.

We’re looking for a senior technical leader who’s motivated by software development. Amazon teams run like businesses giving you the control to run things the way you see fit, allowing you as a manager to be responsible for your team top to bottom. A senior technical leader for this role is known for hiring, developing, and retaining the best talent – creating durable organizations that celebrate diverse points of view and experiences. You need to operate at both strategic and tactical levels – create and drive a vision across multiple software development teams, lead managers, while still being able to dive deep enough to help a software engineer reason through the cause of a memory leak. You need to be an innovator, an influencer, and a problem solver – demonstrating solid technical judgment, effectively able to communicate, and leading a fast-paced organization to deliver results with a focused yet pragmatic approach to your business.
