Position Summary

The US 3P Selection Senior Manager role is responsible for driving holistic programs and working directly with WW technology, operations, and account management teams focused on driving improvements across flagship Amazon metrics such as ASINs with a Sale, Fast Track Available ASINs, and Head Brand Buyable Selection Coverage. As the US 3P Selection lead, the role is responsible for identifying opportunities to increase customer-relevant selection and selection funnel efficiency. The role engages stakeholder teams to capture these opportunities by inventing and improving internal-, seller-, and customer-facing products and programs such as DR. Buyability-FastTrack, Head Brand Selection Coverage, Explore Brand Selection, Manage Your Inventory, Listing tools, ASIN Buyability, Discoverability, and New Selection Quality. The US 3P selection owner is expected to develop a clear charter, influence stakeholder teams, audit business inputs, have a deep knowledge of Amazon’s selection systems and tools, demonstrate strong ownership, think big, retail and data acumen to be successful.

The US 3P Selection lead is the subject matter expert and central POC for all US 3P Product Family teams and the 3P SAS organization that leverage the 3P selection team as the go-to resource for selection trends and insights, metric and product consultation, deep dives, and support as they escalate key headwinds with WW technology and operations teams. This is a highly visible position that must prepare documentation for senior executives and align roadmaps with the overarching strategic objectives for the 3P business. The role requires excellent written and verbal communication and an advanced analytical skill set.

The US 3P Selection lead influences WW technology and operations roadmaps, defines a multi-year vision, and develops PRFAQs to inspire Think Big ideas that drive innovation. This role works closely with tech and science teams to measure the success of an expanding portfolio of selection products and initiatives, ideates on product strategy, and provides guidance on feature prioritization. The 3P Selection lead has a strong understanding of the product and data infrastructure and bridges the gap between tech and operations teams and seller and customer research to help support the voice of the Seller/Customer. The Selection lead ensures progress and prioritization efforts drive the maximum impact for the business by guiding tech and operations teams to understand how their new and existing initiatives effect core business inputs.

  • 10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $142,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
