Description
SIERRA (Science, Insights, Experience, Research, Reporting & Analytics) has an opportunity for a Senior Manager, Product Management-Tech to join the organization. This role will lead a team of product and program leaders focused on the long-term strategy and product vision for core & common functionality utilized across all of our talent management products, as well as several individual product verticals.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, Product Management – Tech, you will be responsible for:
Building, leading and influencing high-functional product and program management teams
Defining product strategy that achieves strong customer value and business outcomes
Working with developers and architects to build scalable and highly reliant systems
Using UX, product, and business knowledge to inform decisions and communicate effectively with and influence internal teams
Problem solving using analytical skills and a proven process of data-validated, hypothesis-driven, experiment-tested decisions
Hiring and developing the best with empathy, while ensuring the highest standards
Thinking big to integrate machine learning and GenAI-based solutions where they are game-changers
Developing efficient processes and programs to execute on mission critical objectives
About the team
This role is within the SIERRA (Science, Insights, Experience, Research, Reporting & Analytics) team. SIERRA is an organization within GTMC that is a horizontal, multi-disciplinary organization whose mission is to be a force multiplier for the broader GTMC organization and our key customer cohorts. We accomplish this by using our expertise in data analytics and science, economics, machine learning (ML), UX, I/O psychology, and engineering to build insights and experiences that raise the bar in understanding and shaping decision making at scale by integrating within and across talent journeys as well as through self-service tools and closed loop mechanisms outside of those journeys. Our portfolio of products spans foundational data sources, metrics, and research through to finished features and products that our end-customers interact with on a daily basis.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
6+ years of team management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience with end to end product delivery
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
