As the Sr Manager , Leadership Culture & Team Effectiveness you will join the Leadership Culture, Talent Management, and Succession function that’s responsible for core leadership and talent philosophies and programs for the entire organization. You’ll directly support a team that design s , deliver s , evaluates, and evolves a portfolio of programs and experiences. Your team serves a diverse enterprise-wide audience – from a Corporate contexts to those who lead in our Stores and Supply Chain teams. The team will initially focus on developing and embedding foundational programs with room for innovation.

Creating success conditions for a team of program managers and learning professionals to develop , manage and evaluate our program and resource portfolio
Partnering with your manager on supporting the health and performance of the team at large
Lead and evolve our nascent team effectiveness programming
Taking a human centered approach in understanding the context and needs of managers
Strengthening collaborative culture with key internal partners (e.g. HR Business Partners, Learning Managers, Diversity & Inclusion Specialists, Data Scientists)
Assessing and engaging external vendors to deliver programs / services to address our key needs
Providing thought leadership on effective / progressive methods to develop and assess leaders
Keep current on new learning approaches, technologies and tools through research and networking to learn about and generate innovative practices
Facilitating change and evolution of people, how we work, and organizational capability
A day in the life…
Consult with a Supply Chain Learning Manager on development curriculum to support foundational leadership practices around coaching, feedback, and safety
Shar e insights from recent research (e.g. vertical development, network analysis) to challenge current thinking in a project
Brainstorm with data scientists to examine the needs and pain points of leaders and the conditions that drive change towards our desired outcomes
Articulat e how this work enables us to deliver our brand promise to our customers
Design the follow-up tools and resources to support a DiSC team effectiveness experience
Navigate conversations with vendors and internal stakeholders on priorities
Draft a proposal for innovative piece of work
Reach out to an expert or respected colleague in the field to exchange learning and questions
Spend time connecting with colleagues and supporting team well-being
Facilitate a n inclusion workshop that challenges minds, speaks to hearts, and inspires change
Aligning with your team on key deliverables (e.g. inclusive hiring toolkit, new manager nudges)
Leverag e competency framework to calibrate team performance and inform development
Address pain points that impede efficacy , pulling in diverse perspective s to consider solutions
Thinking through strategies to influence change from the individual to systemic levels
Asking tough questions and holding up a mirror on our culture
You own this if you have ...
Advanced k nowledge in HR, I/O Psychology, Adult Learning, Organization Development or similar fields
10 + years’ experience within the HR and/or learning or talent management field (leadership development focus preferred)
Certified in team effectiveness models (e.g. DiSC , 5 Behaviors)
Understanding and experience with vertical development theory and leadership practice
Created effective learning and talent tools, resources, activities and programs to develop leaders within an enterprise wide context in a large, complex organization
Proven ability navigate change and lead by example in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment
Clear and effective written and verbal communication that aligns and influences key stakeholders
Commit ment to helping a team and its members grow personally and professionally
Experience consulting and deep listening with HR business partners and business leaders
Managing vendor relationships (e.g. negotiations, aligning on a vision, providing feedback)
A few things to note…
Candidates outside of the Seattle area will be considered ; this position can be full-time remote and there is no relocation planned for this role
T here may be about 10% travel required in the future as the context permits
