**This role is Hybrid Seattle, WA - and you will be required to be in office 3 days per week. There is no relocation offered for this role at this time.

Within Nordstrom’s Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team (FP&A), we enjoy a unique perspective into everything happening within Nordstrom. Our team provides strategic support to the CFO and enterprise-wide planning, analysis, and reporting. We are the central place the entire company looks to for an understanding of financial performance while playing a significant role in driving profitable business decisions .

We are seeking a proven self-starter to lead our Corporate FP&A investment governance team. The team is focused on capital investments and the processes to support key corporate wide activities including p lanning cycles and processes, scenario modeling, economic trends, monthly and quarterly reporting for both internal and external stakeholders and key presentations to our executive team . In this role you will leverage various analytic and visualization techniques to support data-drive n storytelling, looking forward to continuously raise the bar on our business insights capabilities and meet current and future needs of the business. This position will require the ability to thrive and succeed in a fast-paced environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.

A day in the life:

  • Lead and support a team of analysts to execute the vision and deliverables

  • Define and manage a long-term vision and portfolio of in vestments and projects to improve profitability through best-in-class planning processes , visualizatio ns, and data driven storytelling

  • Support critical internal and external reporting including board of director and monthly reporting to our executive team through our Enterprise Investment Reviews (EIR)

  • Design and execute processes that support governance of our capital investments across the enterprise.

  • Support internal team to provide information that enables a nal ysis across the P&L and support recommendations on shifts in investments, identify trends and proactively communicate insights ensuring p ositive ROI

  • Drive a Business Intelligence roadmap ; prioritiz e business insight requests to support strategic and profitable decision needs of the business

  • Collaborate with business partners to gain business acumen to better anticipate future needs and respond to current information needs

  • Connect with broader Nordstrom finance and analytics community of professionals to stay current on technology trends, data tools and techniques to continuously improve capabilities

    You own this if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree (finance or economics preferred )

  • 10 plus years of e xperience in finance with scope and accountability progression

  • Experience with advanced databases, data warehousing technologies, and process design

  • Experienced in driver-based model building that is scalable and flexible

  • Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and provide recommendations to all levels of the organization

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $110,000 - $210,000 Annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
