What You Will Do: As Gannett Fleming continues to grow and expand, we are looking for a Senior Manager to support our Dams and Hydraulics team in Seattle, WA. This can be a remote opportunity for the right individual. Gannett Fleming is recognized as a national leader in dams and water resources engineering, providing a comprehensive range of engineering services for dams, flood control, water supply, and transportation projects - from planning, engineering, and design through construction management and decommissioning. We rely on our water resources engineers to deliver quality results that will actively engage our clients and advance our company forward. As a Senior Manager, you will be an integral part of our team and our company. Responsibilities: Lead the project pursuit decision (go/no-go) Lead development and preparation of proposals including coordinating with other team members for practice specific input. Negotiate contract scopes and fees Lead in presentation of proposals to clients and other stakeholders Supervise and/or prepare contracts and related documents for clients, subconsultants, subcontractors, and vendors which conform with in-house counsel requirements Recommend execution of contracts and related documents for clients, subconsultants, subcontractors and vendors Manage the project set-up process Lead project kick-off meetings Develop, coordinate and efficiently manage the resources to complete the scopes of service which may include multiple practices Coordinate and manage the efforts of subconsultants, subcontractors and vendors Prepare project status reports with input from others Maintain communication with internal/external stakeholders Control project costs through preparing and maintaining cost management reports, Earned Value Analysis (EVA) or other techniques Lead in preparing and maintaining project schedules. Lead, coordinate and manage the QC process Identify and control risks in accordance with the PEP's Manage timely billings, A/R collection and A/P payments Approve client invoices for billing Approve sub-contractor invoices for payment Coordinate and manage project closeout activities Additional responsibilities may include marketing and business development through meetings with and presentations to potential clients. Education | Experience: Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in engineering or other related field Licensed Engineer (PE) PMI, PMP or approved equivalent preferred 15 + years of industry experience, hydroelectric penstock and large diameter pipe experience a plus Must have strong oral and written communication skills Must be able to analyze and solve problems efficiently and effectively Company Overview: At Gannett Fleming, we believe in improving the lives of the people we serve.
