Amazon Fuse is a new acquisition service that enables Amazon to distribute subscription services such as Prime, Prime Video, Music Unlimited, etc. Amazon Fuse is one of the fastest-growing and strategic new business areas inside Amazon. We are looking for a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused data analytics leader who is interested in shaping our long term Business Intelligence, data architecture, and data analytics roadmap. This role will influence the way we assess current and future strategic partnerships, provide guidance to product teams around data requirements and structures, and work across groups to source data - Prime, Prime Video, Shopping, Amazon Music, Audible.Leading a team of Data and Business Intelligence Engineers, you will have broad latitude to work with key Amazon's business data (including High Value Actions, Down Stream Impact, Engagement Metrics, etc.) and influence Amazon Fuse product and senior management decisions. You will provide proactive, deep insights into metrics driving the business on a regular cadence. The right candidate will be passionate about working with large datasets and emerging businesses, designing building and streamline data infrastructure, defining methodologies, and create self-service business reporting tools. You will work closely with our engineering teams to influence the product roadmap and implement solutions designed to improve operations and controls reporting.In this role, you will have the opportunity to display your skills in the following areas:* Create a compelling and globally influential long-term data strategy and roadmap for how Mobile BD and Fuse should guide business decisions and improve customer experience using data.* Design analytics solutions to measure program impact, identify trends, hot spots, and influence product/program roadmaps* Create and deliver metrics, reporting platforms, payment audits and analytical models critical for tracking and managing the business. This will include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly High Value Actions and engagement metrics* Interface with other business data teams across Amazon or externally to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources to process data for modeling and reporting.* Work with product, marketing, operations, finance, economists and other functional business leaders to gather requirements, and deliver complete Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and BI solutions* Support adjacent data needs related to Amazon's Warrants and Minority Investment portfolio.* Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to leadership* Hire, develop and mentor a team of high-performance data engineers and business intelligence engineers* Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Management information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar field* 8-10 years' experience working with large scale complicated datasets; experience with relevant technologies and of enterprise-level system implementations, such as data warehouses, ETL automation, BI visualization tools, and AWS cloud-based data management tools* Demonstrated ability to manage global projects or programs including work prioritization, planning, and coordination* Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams* Ability to work cross-functionally, building and maintaining trust with internal stakeholders* MBA, Master's or Doctorate degree in math, computer science, engineering, finance, statistics, or a related technical field* Prior experience managing digital subscriptions or products* Advanced proficiency in SQL, ETL, data modeling, and working with "Big Data"* Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methods* Experience design
