Amazon Sr. Instock Manager, Cross Border inventory transfer in Seattle, Washington

Description

As the Sr. Instock Manager, you will own ASIN forecasting and buying metrics such as SoROOS, OIH, own defining and executing a Supply Chain Roadmap for a cross border inventory program. You will collaborate with a team of Product, vendor managers, program managers and operations managers to drive operational process improvements to move inventory across the world with a goal of maximizing product availability, reducing unhealthy, driving executional excellence, and optimizing cost to serve.

In this critical role, you are going to help redefining Supply Chain to align it with Amazon procurement systems and to bring collaboration with both vendors and existing Amazon FC network to a next level. You will be involved in all aspects of instock, operational management and Supply Chain optimization. In this role, you need to be able to lead and influence both internal stakeholders as well as our vendors in an ambiguous environment, while maintaining a customer-centric philosophy.

Key job responsibilities

Key areas of focus include identifying and delivering improvement opportunities around demand and production planning, optimizing end-to-end supply chain integration with a goal of improving cost to serve, reducing waste, and carbon emissions. You will analyze production and delivery lead-times and operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations and fulfillment, efficient receive process and inventory placement. This role enables you to "hit the ground running" and make transformation impact on how we manage supply chain in one of the most exciting businesses.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $96,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
