The Account Health Assurance (AHA) team is looking for a Customer Obsessed Sr. Insights Manager with a strong market research background and a passion for solving unique problems to develop world class seller insights capabilities and drive the success of the AHA team. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious leader with exceptional Ownership skills to create and manage the AHA Insights program. You enjoy building things from scratch, are comfortable with change and ambiguity, and relish the chance to solve hard problems in short order. You recognize that the true measure of success of your work is based on the business impact your findings have over time.

This role requires working closely with program, product, operations, business analytics, tech, and other international stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively Earn Trust and deliver actionable data and insights to inform strategic innovation and unique solutions. You will build strong relationships, develop subject matter expertise within the AHA domain, and mentor others.

You will be responsible for end-to-end insights delivery, including defining learning objectives, identifying relevant data sources, developing structured questionnaires across various modalities, synthesizing and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, and writing summary briefs to deliver clear and actionable insights to stakeholders at various leadership levels and across multiple teams. You will use the information you learn to help us build AHA seller communication plans, including developing communication content and working with partners across the organization to determine and execute appropriate channel delivery.

Key job responsibilities

• Design and execute primary research studies (leveraging both qualitative and quantitative methods) to understand seller needs, behavior, and preferences to guide informed strategic planning and decision-making

• Use analysis to generate actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholder teams, including, program, product, policy, operations, and communications

• Deliver thorough, clear, discerning, and concise analyses that reflect Writing at Amazon best practices

• Collaborate with stakeholder teams to optimize and implement recommendations and measure impact on relevant metrics

• Champion a data-driven culture of curiosity, innovation, inspection, measurement, and continuous improvement to accelerate delivery against program goals

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership

  • Experience communicating results to stakeholders

  • 6+ years experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research (e.g., identifying appropriate research methods, designing, executing, analyzing, and drafting actionable recommendations from primary research), with expertise leveraging qualitative research methods (e.g., firmographics, in-depth interviews, focus groups, diary studies) and quantitative research methods (e.g., driver modeling, regression analysis, factor analysis, clustering)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
