To support our mission, we’re hiring a Sr. HR Specialist, AHS People eXperience & Technology (PXT) Integration. This is a highly visible role and is both strategic and hands-on. The role will be an advisor, business partner, and end-to-end owner for numerous high-impact projects and programs within the AHS organization. The role is a key player in partnership with the internal Amazon Human Resources (HR) Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, Corporate Development Integration Leaders, and acquired leadership teams through all phases of the One Medical M&A project. Specifically, this opportunity will manage the portfolio of critical initiatives focused on post-acquisition harmonization and take over projects related to integration of One Medical.

The role reports into the PXT HR team supporting AHS, and will work across the org with key business stakeholders and partner teams to deliver on this charter.

The right candidate will possess a hybrid program/project management background with demonstrated experience leading simultaneous initiatives as well as extensive experience across the breadth of HR workstreams. Our team works in a fast-paced environment and someone who thrives working on high-profile projects, ambiguous environments, and is comfortable interacting with a wide range of HR and business professionals across all levels would be well-suited for this role.

This role can sit out of the following locations: Seattle (SEA71) or Santa Clara (SJC38).

Key job responsibilities

  • Perform hands on project management such as development of project plans, scheduling and resource planning, monitoring and status reporting against planned deliverables/milestones, development and management of risk, issue, and action logs.

  • Partner with centers of excellence including HR M&A, compensation, talent acquisition, finance, talent management, learning and development, and other key stakeholders on execution of integration plan.

  • Proactively identify solutions to meet business objectives, taking into account the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders.

  • Ensure smooth project execution of acquired companies by monitoring and auditing key tasks across HR work streams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, focused in human resource management/business, M&A, communications, public relations, marketing or other related field

  • 5+ years of experience and demonstrated success in Program/Project management

  • Strong project and stakeholder management and organization skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated experience communicating with and influencing senior leaders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in HR M&A workstreams or roles

  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple high priority and complex workstreams with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to think long-term and look around corners/flag risk to peers, stakeholders, and leadership

  • Demonstrated bias for action and an ability to deliver results through ambiguity

  • Prior experience as an HR Business Partner or Change Management professional in a matrixed organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $100,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $187,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
