As a senior financial analyst on North America FP&A team, you facilitate the development of strategic and operating plans for cost of goods sold. This position works cross functionally with Global Supply Chain, Inventory Accounting, Product and other teams across the organization.

As a senior financial analyst, you will…

• Lead the development of the US Retail COGS annual operating budget and quarterly forecasts. Establish timelines, partner with cross functional stakeholders, manage consolidation and initiate timely reviews of the financial projections to ensure plans are delivered on time and are consistent with overall company plans. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities. Conduct decision analyses as needed and communicates results.

• Perform due diligence for new initiatives. Perform sensitivity and incremental cost/benefit decision analyses. Build financial models and provide analytical support for business initiatives. Identify, analyze, and communicate trends and issues affecting the business.

• Analyze and provide feedback on monthly financial results and key performance measures. Prepare management reports against forecast, budget, and prior year. Provide root cause variance explanations and highlights opportunities and risks. Identify trends, communicate observations, and provide recommendations for cost and margin improvements.

• Provide financial information and guidance effectively to all levels of management. Establish and facilitate process development and perform on-going review of planning and reporting process to evaluate effectiveness and making recommendations for improvements.

We’d love to hear from people with:

• Progressive experience performing financial analysis job functions, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and financial reporting (5+ years)

• Financial modeling skills (2+ years)

• Presenting analyses and making recommendations to leaders (3+ years)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment

• Advanced financial modeling skills

• Working knowledge of financial and management accounting principles
