Job summaryAmazon is seeking an exceptional Senior Financial Analyst to support the Prime Video international expansion team. The international expansion team is focused on combining our US Original programming - shows like The Boys, Jack Ryan, and Wheel of Time - alongside local-language produced and licensed content that accelerates Amazon's flywheel in nascent countries.This Finance Leader will be a trusted advisor working closely with various stakeholders including Content Strategy, Programming, Analytics, and Finance teams to solve complex problems and enhance understanding of the impact and efficiencies of Prime Video's content investments. This role will drive frameworks to evaluate performance once content releases on Prime Video, oversee financial planning and reporting processes, and enhance controllership to manage content costs.Key job responsibilitiesBuild and scale reporting and controllership mechanisms for Prime Video's content investments internationally.Use data to make recommendations to influence strategic decision-making and planning.Support internal stakeholders in all central content finance matters including forecasting, long-term planning, data integrity, costs tracking and control.Prepare regular documentation for financial review meetings with key Prime Video business and Finance stakeholders worldwide.5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar discipline with analytical biasSQL proficiencyComfortable working in cross-functional teams and often in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and modeling skills; comfortable with manipulating large sets of data to derive business insights.Ability to run own projects and analysis, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Great attention to detail, a passion for metrics and data, and the ability to dive deep, while also seeing and understanding the bigger commercial picture.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
