Key job responsibilities

We are looking for a Finance professional to help steward our growth into this complex but fast-growing space. We are looking for a strategic and operationally-minded leader to join our Pharmacy Operations Finance Team, who is not afraid of ambiguity and challenges the status quo. Individuals in this role have advancement opportunities to support different businesses and multifunctional teams, to lead new programs and initiatives, and to manage larger teams within the company.

Key job responsibilities

  • Influencing operational strategy in partnership with the Operations’ leadership team

  • Developing new metrics and reporting on the health of the Amazon Pharmacy operations

  • Ability to operate in fast-paced and ambiguous environment

This is a highly visible role within the finance team and requires a strong leader and open communicator. You will have ownership for the implementation of your work and you will see direct business improvements based on the results of your work.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

  • Exceptional analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
