As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists and engineers, you will help improve effectiveness and overall product quality across the product lifecycle through driving activities related to Engines Configuration Management. In this position you will perform change analysis activities including managing change requests, supporting change impact identification, facilitating change boards, and statusing change implementation tasks. These activities will support Blue Origin\'s commitment to accurate and on-time delivery of meaningful artifacts and ensuring known-configuration is maintained. Responsibilities: Lead and support in the establishment of a world-class Configuration Management structure and organization Ensure configuration and data management principles are enforced and meeting customer requirements Mentor internal team members in Configuration Management best practices and industry standards Develop training materials that support the Configuration Management system and conduct training sessions with teams across the Engines Business. Establish product and process metrics that effectively measure and improve performance of documentation and configuration management processes as the need arises. Work directly with engine product teams in providing timely configuration and data management services for all types of data Review proposed configuration changes to understand and assess effect on overall product and system Lead and/or support configuration change meetings to ensure risks and change impacts are well understood and documented Identify and implement system and process improvements as required to increase efficiency and quality Qualifications: AA/AS or BA/BS in a related technical or liberal arts discipline 10+ years of direct product configuration management experience (Product structure, parts, drawings, documents and requirements management) 10+ years of experience working in a highly regulated environment (aerospace, nuclear, government, medical device, etc.) Deep experience with world-class toolsets for configuration management in complex products Proficient with configuration management principles and practices Possess high attention to detail and strong organizational/coordination skills Proven ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally with staff at all levels of the organization and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, customers and suppliers. Excellent technical writing and presentation skills. Proficient with product lifecycle management (PLM) and/or data management tools Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Desired: CMII certification/training Experience in aerospace industry Proficient in technical writing of process and procedure Experience using W
