Sr Business Operations Manager, AWSAre you excited about the cloud computing industry? Would you like to be part of a team focused on worldwide Go-To-Market initiatives for Amazon Web Services (AWS)?As Business Operations Manager for AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build mindshare and broaden AWS' use across Enterprise customers. Your responsibilities will include a) annual operational and budget planning processes and deliverables, b) monthly metrics dashboards and executive reporting processes and deliverables, c) own special projects and programs for the team on an as-needed basis. You will work closely with the worldwide leadership team, and regional and functional stakeholders across AWS. You must be comfortable working with cross functional, global teams in dynamic organizations as many of the projects and programs will have interdependencies with other teams within AWS.The right candidate has been successful in a business operations function for a 100+ person global organization, possesses strong analytical skills, exceptional writing and communications skills, strong project and program management capabilities and a proven track record of simultaneously driving multiple priorities, a customer-focused approach, affinity for fast paced entrepreneurial environment, a strong sense of ownership, and is detail oriented.If you meet these qualifications and have a passion for the technology industry, this job is for you!Role and Responsibilities* Manage annual operational planning and budgeting processes, including the defining and executing the process to develop business plan narratives, defining requirements for production of supporting data, and qualitative assessment of deliverables. Effective engagement with business leaders, and the finance and business analyst functions is critical.* Management of, and monthly reporting on key budget items; own partnership with finance, analytics team and functional partners across AWS.* Own monthly metrics reports, including providing requirements to analysts for dashboards/related analytical tools to provide stakeholders relevant and timely insights to effectively execute on business priorities.* Own monthly executive reporting for the group for monthly business reviews with the executive leadership.* Define and manage the organization's business cadence, including attendance model, formats and content to achieve desired outcomes, and recommended cadence for each forum.* Execute special projects and programs that advance enterprise and industry competencies and capabilities within AWS.* 7+ years of relevant work experience in business operations, and/or program/project management* 5+ years of experience in cloud computing environmentsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
