We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to help with delivering accurate data, insightful analyses, and compelling visualizations to ensure the AWS Strategic Accounts leadership team can grow sustainable and scalable businesses. The ideal candidate earns trust through outstanding performance, has strong strategic planning and financial acumen, and has creative ideas for data visualizations for complex metrics. The ideal candidate has broad technical skills, strong data management skills, and a deep analytics background to develop and assist the AWS Strategic Accounts organization in deriving analytical insights from data and building scalable mechanisms to support those insights.
The role is critical and highly visible across the organization and plays a key role in developing analytic insights that are foundational for our strategy. This position is responsible for identifying technical requirements for business metrics and dashboards, partnering with data engineers to execute on those requirements, translating them into compelling visualizations, and providing useful and meaningful analysis for leadership.
Ideal candidates are passionate about data governance and hygiene, and are never satisfied until data standards are established and consistently in place. You want data to tell a clear story, highlight insights we hadn't previously seen, and do it all faster than we've been able to previously. With an understanding of the core business needs in hand, you’ll use your programming, SQL, and data visualization skills to develop solutions that will help move the business forward and enable better decisions to be made in less time.

Own key executive reports and metrics that are consumed by our executive leadership team and the field organization.
Partnering with engineering, product, business, and finance teams to create and iterate on key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement.
