Join our team!Job Summary: As the Solutions Architect (HR) you will support NanoString business units supporting technology and process change to increase business efficiencies and optimize HR department business functions. You will support a variety of current HR systems, including Workday, but will support other systems used by HR as well as suggest other technologies (or process change) appropriate to improve the department and their customers. This position needs to have a balanced mix of skills including project management, understanding of system platform, good communication skills, appropriate management and leadership for stakeholders, problem solving and decision making. You will need to have experience leveraging cross functional teams, managing technical developers and consultants but also comfortable with hands on work configuring solutions yourself. You will demonstrate a curious mind for solution technologies, be a quick study of IT systems, and think out of the box and beyond current systems and technologies as a business partner to our HR Department.Responsibilities:SME (Subject Matter Expert) and Solutions Architect for technology system applications supporting Nanostring' HR including configuration, development, integration and customizationsManages projects and teams of consultants and internal resources IT and HR) to deliver work products supporting HR process optimizationsLeads new functional application development and system modification initiativesAdvises and trains stakeholders/users on system configuration, and functional processes where applicableWorks with and manages departmental resources in IT, HR stakeholders, system vendors and consultants in the release of application upgrades and enhancementsManage stakeholders' user acceptance testing and facilitates end-user testing of application releases against requirementsSchedule and support audit of various HR systems and databases for SOX, ISO and other applicable regulatory compliance agenciesCoordination and implementation of corporate initiatives in partnership with the HR departmentCollaborative efforts with HR and the organization to include:Research and resolve HR issues / problems, with emphasis on root causes analysis and resolutionHR process compliance and auditInterfacing with HR customers, vendors, consult
