The Digital Acceleration team is recruiting for a Software Quality Manager to lead a key part of our development team focused on building a commerce integrations platform to enable businesses across the company to sell digital goods and provide subscriptions. Some of our noteworthy businesses are Prime, Kindle Unlimited, Audible, Applications, Music, Books, Newspapers, and Videos. We are currently developing the next-generation commerce integrations with broader commerce engines to bring new features to our partner businesses, reduce latency and simplify onboarding. As a Software Quality Manager, you will lead a team focused solving problems that make it easier to buy subscriptions and digital goods across Amazon and external partners. The team would enable businesses by ensuring successful order processing, fulfillment, and fraud detection/reduction.You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment of these services, at the same uphold the bar for OE (operational excellence). You will also be responsible for growing your team via hiring and developing engineers to meet their career goals. Candidates will need to think outside the box to quickly come up with innovative solutions to problems that are unique to Amazon. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing real time scalable systems, a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations: Seattle, WA, USA - 1+ years of quality assurance engineering experience - 3+ years of quality assurance teams management experience - Experience in manual testing - Experience in automation testing - Experience managing manual testers - Experience managing automation testers - Experience testing web technologies and back-end services - Experience identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results with a strong QA background - Experience preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals - Experience transforming QA programs from manual to automation Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from \$117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to \$228,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
