TITLE: Software Engineer
EMPLOYER: Stripe, Inc.
DUTIES: Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems across Stripes engineering teams using Java; Build software infrastructure, including developing, testing, and deploying it; Design and develop software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design; Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation; Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack; Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints; Work with engineers across the company to build new features at large-scale; Build new systems to securely store sensitive data; Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
LOCATION: Seattle, WA (and various unanticipated work locations across the U.S.)
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 3 years of software engineering experience
Position requires the following:
3 years of experience working with Java, and AWS;
3 years of experience implementing industry standard design patterns;
3 years of software engineering experience building full-stack web applications at scale;
3 years of experience with database management; and
3 years of experience using SQL and related query languages to perform data analysis.
SALARY: $187,033 - $197,033/year and standard employee benefits.
