Come join us! About the team Cloudflare is redefining the way networks are run at scale. Our Network Services product suite puts the connectivity, scale, and performance of Cloudflare's global network in front of customers' network infrastructure and private networks, providing a single pane of glass for network connectivity, visibility, and operating network functions like DoS mitigation, Next-Gen Firewall, IDS/IPS, WAN optimization, and more. We are a team of engineers and product managers who obsess over quickly building products that solve real customer problems using innovative technologies and techniques which leverage Cloudflare's unique architecture and global network footprint. About the role We are hiring an experienced devops engineer to help support and supplement development processes and operations efforts across multiple engineering teams within the Network Services department. Some of the responsibilities of the role includes: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of software applications in a SaaS environment Work with developer teams to build / maintain tooling for developer environments Write applications, tools, and scripts to improve build system performance Build frameworks to improve quality-of-life of writing test automation. Monitor system performance for internal services, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure to meet performance and reliability targets Drive innovation by staying abreast of the latest DevOps trends and work with each development team to continuously improve our processes As a devops engineer on our team, you will build and maintain robust infrastructure, streamline deployment processes, and help ensure system reliability and security. You'll partner with some of the best engineers and managers to solve development and operational issues in one of the largest edge networks in the world. We're looking for curious, empathetic engineers who are excited to join us in changing the way networking is done! Examples of desirable skills, knowledge, and experience 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably in a distributed cloud-based environment Experience automating deployment and maintaining large-scale, reliable, highly distributed systems Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes Knowledge of configuration and management of cloud resources using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines with technologies like Gitla
