ADOBE SYSTEMS INC Software Development Engineer in Seattle, Washington
Design, develop, and test user experience applications developed in a variety of programming languages and using multiple frameworks; Develop efficient, reliable, secure, testable services code in Java; Maintain code to address functional changes, language, library, operating system updates, and bug fixes; Work with others, advising on using team technology, investigating bugs, and collaborating on providing new features; Regularly review and tune test code to achieve quality, code coverage, and performance metrics; Tune services to address performance and load requirements; Respond to urgent production issues requiring fast resolution and Software deployment of code fixes and updates; Work in a small, collaborative, highly productive and output team environment; Participate in inventing technology, writing patents, and being active internal community of software development professionals. Telecommuting up to 50% permitted. Bachelor's degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field and 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Requires 60 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in: (1) Design patterns, data structures, algorithms and asymptotic complexity, SQL database schema design, NoSQL database schema design, UML diagrams, and distributed system design; (2) Development in Java and Spring framework; (3) Microservice testing using manual testing, automation testing, and load testing; (4) Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic; (5) Git, Jenkins, Maven, IntelliJ, Scripting in Bash, HTTP, REST APIs, TCP/IP stack, Postman, Kubernetes, Charles proxy or Proxyman, Docker, JFrog artifactory, Hashicorp vault, and Atlassian Jira; and (6) Distributed Cache, Distributed Queue services, Distributed Event Streaming platforms, NoSQL databases, SQL database, Distributed Blob storage platforms, AWS, and Azure.
