ADOBE SYSTEMS INC Software Development Engineer (multiple openings) in Seattle, Washington
Design, develop, document, and maintain highly scalable and performant iOS packages, applications, and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). Write high-performance code in Objective-C, Swift and SwiftUI. Work closely with product and design teams to build features that enable user-based content and experience personalization across web and mobile applications. Drive software architecture discussions, code reviews to design fault-tolerant systems that conform to established software design principles. Monitor and profile services to analyze bottlenecks and optimize to balance performance and cost. Fine tuning app performance by using XCode instrument tool and Google Firebase framework to monitor the crashes and performance during development and production. Write production-quality code with unit tests that is deployed via Jenkins pipeline. Design and build tools, scripts, and automation to improve quality and development speed. Detailed understanding of iOS Human Interface Guidelines. Crafting secure and scalable solutions for a mobile concurrent environment. Use Instruments for debugging and performance tuning iOS applications. Use Core data for data persistence of user data/content for offline support. Position may allow for partial telecommuting.
Requirements:
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Development Engineer-related occupation.
Position requires 36 months of experience in the following:
- Programming Languages: Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, C, C++, HTML, JavaScript, and Unix scripting.;
