You will own Tier 1 services that power all experiences that customers enjoy with Alexa devices. You will build internet scale, customer facing distributed services that process billions of requests per day, hundreds of thousands of TPS.* 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience* Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design* 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.* BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical field.* 4+ years of hands-on software development experience.* Excellent programming skills in at least one modern programming language.* Outstanding knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures and problem solving).* Proficiency using Object Oriented Design and common design pattern.* Experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and existing systems.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
